Soeben mein Konferenzticket in der Early Bird-Phase erstanden: Im November geht’s zur Coworking Europe Conference in Portugals Hauptstadt Lissabon.
Nach Stationen in Brüssel, Berlin, Paris und Barcelona erwartet die Veranstaltung mehr als 300 an Coworking Interessierte: Coworking Space Betreiber, Stadtentwickler, Digital Nomads, aktive Coworker oder Gründerzentren (neudeutsch Inkubatoren).

Im letzten Jahr kamen Teilnehmer aus über 40 Ländern nach Barcelona. Denn Coworking ist alles andere als ein auf die USA oder vereinzelte Städte Europas beschränktes „Phänomen“:

„As of early 2013, more than 1.200 coworking spaces are in operation in Europe.

In less than 5 years, the total of coworking spaces has overtook, for instance, the total of incubators and innovation centers operating in Europe.

The number of coworking spaces worldwide is almost doubling every year, getting close to 2.500 globally.“

Passend zum Coworking-Stil ist die Konferenz keine Frontal-Veranstaltung. Das 3-Tages-Programm teilt sich in Vorträge, Workshops sowie einen Unkonferenz/Barcamp-Teil auf. Aktuell ist der Themenfahrplan noch work in progress.

Aus dem Programm in Lissabon

Das vorläufige Programm kündigt unter anderem den „Standard-Vortrag“ zur aktuellen Situation des Coworking von Carsten Foertsch (deskMag) an: „Coworking facts and figures in 2014 – Presentation of the World Coworking Survey“.

Besonders gespannt bin ich auf den Erfahrungsbericht von Amarit Charoenphan aus dem HUBBA Coworking Space für Tech-Startups in Thailand. Und auf das Panel u.a. mit Christian Cordes (Coworking Wolfsburg): „Coworking spaces as gateway to implement policies in the fields of entrepreneurship, sustainable development, city planning or the digitization of the elderly people“.
